Free ticket to Seattle CWD Technology conference this weekend
Anyone out there want to attend this weekend’s CWD Focus on Technology conference in Seattle?
Erik can’t go, so we’ve got an extra ticket we’d like to see used. No need to comp for it – just email me or comment, and I’ll be in touch about meeting at registration.
There’s child care at the conference for kids old enough to be potty trained – below are some details from CWD:
- The teens will go offsite on Sunday for lunch and the afternoon – likely to Pike Market. The weather is supposed to be rainy all week, and they will walk there even if it is raining. Please dress appropriately.
- Tween and elementary groups have swim time built into the schedule – make sure to bring a swim suit. If your child does not enjoy the water, please talk with the age group leader in the morning to determine an alternate activity.
- On Saturday night after dinner, Harold Sanco is going to teach us Batuka. This is an exercise activity that we’re trying out for the first time – it’s similar to Zumba. The staff want to try Batuka first, before we add it into the Orlando program… if you’d like to join us, please make sure to bring exercise clothes and footwear. We’ll be up in Visions, probably around 9:00. Julia at registration will have more details.
- Our conference will be on the 2nd and 3rd levels of the hotel, and the teens will be on the top floor in Visions. There is another conference in-house on the basement level. Please wear your name badges and CWD wristbands the entire weekend. We do watch for them at all meals and sessions.
